As digital transformation is reshaping our society, cultivating a deep understanding of innovation and emerging technologies has become essential for aspiring business leaders. In this spirit, the Executive Education Office organized a five-day program for a group of Year 2-3 undergraduate students from the University of Science and Technology of China (School of Management). This program provided 23 participants with an overview of the latest digital technologies and their applications, while broadening their global and strategic perspectives.

The program featured a combination of lectures and discussions led by our leading faculty and staff including Prof. CHEN Zhanhui, Prof. GONG Yaping, Prof. David HAGMANN, Prof. HONG Weiyin, Prof. KOH Tat Koon, Mr. Raymond XIAO, Prof. Jean WANG, and Mr. YANG Xiadong. Key topics include disruptive technologies and business resilience, new trends in Hong Kong’s capital markets, cybersecurity, responsible leadership, AI in the economy, data science, and individual creativity. Participants also visited the Cyberport and Li & Fung’s headquarters to see how AI helps solve food waste crisis and perform data integration in global supply chain solutions.

Through exposure to real-world cases and interactive learning, the group gained valuable insights into how technology, innovation and leadership intersect in today’s complex global business environment.
