In January, the Executive Education Office successfully concluded the 2025 intake of two leadership programs— Management Development Program (MDP) and Leadership Development Program (LDP).
Both are designed for middle to senior management within the HKSAR Government and related organizations.
Since the launch of MDP in 2000 and LDP in 2013, we are proud to present the 44th and 45th MDP cohorts and the 13th LDP cohort. These cohorts have engaged participants from 13 different government departments and related organizations.

Prof. Stephen NASON delivered an insightful session on negotiation as part of the Management Development Program.
Both MDP and LDP focus on enhancing leadership capabilities and equipping participants with essential skills in areas such as decision-making, team leadership, change management, negotiation, crisis management, creative thinking, and effective communication, etc.

Participants took part in a hands‑on team‑building activity focused on communication and problem‑solving.
In addition to the two programs, the Executive Education Office has conducted a variety of executive programs tailored for middle to senior management within the HKSAR Government and public sector throughout 2025. These programs have addressed critical themes, including strategic leadership, people management, digital transformation, AI and cybersecurity.
Looking ahead, the office is excited to announce a series of executive programs for public sector and government officials in 2026, with a goal to cultivate the knowledge and skills of our civil servants and prepare them to meet future challenges.
