The HKUST EMBA Alumni Association Award for Best Case 2025 was presented to recipients in December. Established in 2021 and sponsored by the generous support of the HKUST EMBA Alumni Association, this annual award recognizes outstanding business cases written or co-written by our faculty members. Selection is primarily based on the number of copies distributed globally through the Thompson Center for Business Case Studies’ distribution partner, Harvard Business Impact (HBI, formerly known as Harvard Business Publishing Education).

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the award, and for the first time, an additional honor, the award for the Most Outstanding Case for the past five years, was introduced to celebrate long-term impact.

Representatives from the HKUST EMBA Alumni Association, Ms. Jennifer XU Jianzhen and Ms. GAO Jing, joined the ceremony to present the awards. Associate Dean Prof. FONG Yuk Fai expressed gratitude for the Association’s commitment to advancing case development.
