In September, the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program enthusiastically welcomed Cohort 3 to their inaugural on-campus module. Despite challenging weather conditions, our resilient students demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their DBA studies. The module proved immensely productive, featuring comprehensive courses on business research to establish a robust academic foundation. Meanwhile, our students were enlightened by a talk given by Professor QU Huamin, Dean of the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies and Chair Professor from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, which focused on "Human-AI Collaboration for Decision Making".

Cohort 3 represents the program’s dedication to diversity and excellence. It comprises 15 accomplished senior executives from diverse sectors, spanning technology, finance, consumer goods and services, consulting, and healthcare. This cohort brings a wealth of expertise and perspectives. Hailing from Mainland China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, the US, and Canada, they create a truly international and enriching learning environment. Notably, we are proud that 40% of this cohort are women, and 73% are non-local participants, underscoring our program's global inclusivity.

To foster a sense of community, we organized a warm welcome reception, providing students with the opportunity to connect with esteemed faculty members.

The success of the first module reflects the enthusiasm of our students who are not only ready for the challenging learning journey but also thoroughly enjoy the experience.
