The 6th Annual Value Investing Challenge 2022

Jointly organized by the Center for Investing and the Chartwell Capital Limited, the 6th Annual Value Investing Challenge 2022 was successfully concluded in December 2022. The Challenge is sponsored by the Melting Pot Foundation, with the support from the HKUST Green Finance Research Project and the BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance program.

The Challenge offered two workshops and more than 20 consultation sessions to allow teams to meet with the Chartwell analysts to seek professional advice. These series of activities aimed to promote value investing and encourage students to perform fundamental, bottom-up stock research in the Asia-Pacific Region. Participants were encouraged to acquire real-world knowledge and insight alongside the trendy ESG investing elements. Five finalists out of a total of 32 participating teams were selected to join a final presentation.
