In early December, around 60 Kellogg-HKUST (KH) EMBA students from five partner schools gathered together in Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore for a six-day program.

The program consisted of two courses which were taught by our world class faculty – “Technology Strategy” by our Senior Associate Dean and KH EMBA Academic Director, Professor HUI Kai-lung, and ‘Value Investing” by Economics Adjunct Professor Milind RAO.

To provide students with fruitful and rewarding learning experience and invaluable networking opportunities in the week, we hosted various activities including a city tour on the first day for students who are interested in cultural learning; a networking dinner with Prof. Hui welcoming our fellow students; and a closing reception that marked the successful conclusion of the program.

Students were excited to join the two courses face-to-face after a number of online courses in the past few years under the COVID-19 restrictions. They actively participated in class discussions and group work and enjoyed mingling with peers and faculty. The students found the two courses very well structured with lots of real-life examples. They commented that the coursework was very well thought-out, covering a broad range of segments which helped them learn and think from different perspectives.
