The HKUST BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance (SGFN) program has supported the HKFYG Pre-University Pilot Program. This partnership with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) Leadership Institute aims at providing high school students an overview of sustainable and green finance, by exploring the relationship between sustainability, business, science and technology.
There were four lectures in the program, from late May to June, covering areas of sustainable supply chain, environmental economics, sustainable finance, and circular economy. The SGFN Program Co-Director, Professor Veronique LAFON-VINAIS; Associate Director (Undergraduate Studies) of Interdisciplinary Programs Office, Professor Arthur LAU; and Assistant Professor of Division of Environment and Sustainability, Professor Keith CHAN were impressed by the passion of students in achieving sustainability.
