On April 14, the MSc in Global Finance (MSGF) Program launched the new MSGF Global Insight Series – a global learning platform that gathers experienced MSGF fellows from different parts of the world together to exchange ideas and insight with our students and alumni.
The first episode on Recovery of Real Estate Industry in Post COVID-19 featured a panel of alumni speakers – Ms Christine CHAN, Chief Investment Officer (Asia) of the Link REIT, Mr Ben TSE, Vice President of Peak Reinsurance, and Ms Rainie PAN, Managing Director of Hong Kong PropTech Association and Advisor of UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth. Students and alumni based in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, and the US joined the discussion virtually.
The panelists started with an overview on the post-pandemic recovery of the real estate industry, the expected investment opportunities ahead, and explored a new era of technology and sustainable practice related to real estate. An insightful discussion was also moderated by Professor Veronique LAFON-VINAIS, Project Director of the MSGF program. The discussion looked at the development of the real estate industry in Hong Kong as well as opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
By sharing insights and intelligence, the series helps the MSGF community explore challenges in these unprecedented times and keep the community ahead of the latest developments in the financial world.
