Working hard to keep the global alumni community engaged and inspired, the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA Program team has hosted various online alumni sharing events to inspire their community with thought-provoking dialogues. On March 16, they welcomed alumnus Charles KUAI from the class of 2006 as their online event speaker.
Currently based in Taipei, Charles is the Co-Founder and President of the Mobility Solutions Division and Greater China Region of the AI company Cerence, Inc. During the event, he explained that as our world becomes more defined by software, there was a spike in relying on machine learning and deep learning during the pandemic to help improve the way we live. With his extensive experience in AI, Charles also provided great insight and sparked an in-depth discussion on how AI can help us lead and power through the current VUCA environment.
