We are delighted to announce Professor TAM Kar Yan, Dean of HKUST Business School, and Professor James Y.L. THONG, Chair Professor, Information Systems and Michael Jebsen Professor of Business, are included in the H-Index for Management Information Systems by the University of Arizona.
Similar to the H-index lists for other disciplines such as Computer Science and Economics, the H-index for Management Information Systems (MIS) covers faculty with the highest research productivity in the field. An H-index of 20 is considered good, 40 is outstanding, and 60 is truly exceptional. Professor Tam has achieved an H-index of 54 while Professor Thong has an H-index of 40.
