Raphael DANILO, Co-founder and CEO of Yobs Technologies (an HR Tech startup), shared his entrepreneurial experience with undergraduate students during his recent trip to Hong Kong.
As a freshman in the World Bachelor in Business (WBB) Program in 2016, Raphael, together with and another WBB student Federico DUBINI, completed and launched their first prototype with less than US$500. Unfortunately, they were rejected by every accelerator program. With an unwavering commitment to solving a real problem, their product finally got its first paying customer.
As of June 2019, Yobs has raised US$1.5 million in funding from investors in the US, Europe and Hong Kong. The company has since expanded its business to applications in HR, Sales, Customer Support, Defense, Politics and Education. Their current clients include several Fortune 500 organizations as well as world-renowned institutions. Yobs Technologies was also a recipient of HKUST Entrepreneurship Acceleration Fund in 2016-17.
