The Executive Education Office launched the “Digital Transformation: Strategy, Change & Technology” program this summer. This new four-day program brought together five leading experts to talk about the digital revolution and its impact on business.
The program comprises of two 2-day modules (five topics) from August to September, namely Digital Strategy: Digital Business Models by Prof Chris DORAN, Technology-Enabled Business Innovation by Prof Sam GARG, Big Data & Business Analytics by Prof Allen HUANG, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Business by Prof ZHENG Rong, and Leading Change in the Digital World by Prof Caroline WANG.
A total of 18 senior executives including C-level executives from diverse backgrounds joined the program. They are seasoned executives with 20+ years of working experience, from 11 companies of eight industries.
The sessions explored new digital developments (such as AI and big data analysis) and explained how and why they are relevant to the ever changing world today. Other sessions focused on corporate skills needed to plan for and manage the changes driven by digital innovation, and the mindset needed to kick-start the digital transformation process within traditional corporate structures. Participants found the program comprehensive and practical.
