The competition aims to promote value investing and encourage students to perform fundamental investment research in the Asia-Pacific region. Contestants will be acknowledged for their real-world knowledge and insight, plus their assessment on sustainability and corporate engagement recommendations.
Winners will be able to:
- Enter final round of the interview when applying for internship at Chartwell Capital
- Receive cash prize amounting to 12k
- Receive certificate of excellence
Basic Guidelines:
- Asia stock markets: Hong Kong, China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and Taiwan
- Market cap requirement: USD 250 million or above
- Liquidity requirement: 30 days average daily volume USD 250,000
Eligibility:
- HKUST Undergraduates from any discipline, and teams should comprise 2-3 students
