Professor Jaideep Sengupta
President, Beta Gamma Sigma
HKUST Chapter
BGS is not only a lifelong scholastic recognition for our members, but also a force that propels us to strive for continuous excellence.
The BGS HKUST Chapter and its members are committed to fostering an enduring commitment to the principles and values of honor (Beta), the pursuit of wisdom (Gamma), and the exemplification of earnestness (Sigma). These are essential qualities for today’s business leaders and professionals and they will continue to be of great importance in future.
As the Chapter continues to grow, we will draw on these principles and values as we strengthen our ties with the wider community and create new synergies and opportunities. The benefits promise to be wide-ranging, extending not only to our members and the School, but to the community around us, as well.

Professor Kalok Chan
Acting Dean,
HKUST Business School
My warmest congratulations to all the new honorees and members of the Beta Gamma Sigma HKUST Chapter!
The Beta Gamma Sigma presents a symbol of high principles and superior achievement. I am delighted that since its inception in 2000, the BGS HKUST Chapter has steadily grown into a network of high achievers that unites top students, graduates, faculty members and distinguished leaders of the community.
This year, the School has embarked on a new phase of development, which coincides with the Beta Gamma Sigma’s 100th anniversary. I hope that the School and the Chapter will continue to work together to promote the pursuit of continuous excellence, and foster interaction among students and faculty, as well as with the wider community.
