HKUST Business School has been delighted to welcome partners from around the world to explore new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and learning. Among the recent visits, the School had the pleasure of receiving senior delegations from two leading UK institutions: The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Imperial Business School.
Received by Dean Prof. Frederik ANSEEL and HKUST colleagues, the delegation from LSE was led by Prof. Susana MOURATO, Vice President & Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research), and Prof. Emma MCCOY, Vice President & Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education). Discussions explored opportunities for collaboration in executive education, particularly in wealth management and family office education, as well as initiatives to support Chinese enterprises expanding into international markets. Both sides also exchanged views on AI education, technology-enhanced learning, and innovative programs that bring together Eastern and Western perspectives on the opportunities and challenges presented by AI.

The School also welcomed Imperial Business School, represented by Mr. Aram KARAKASHIAN, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Enrolment. Discussions with Prof. KOH Tat Koon, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs), and colleagues from the School’s undergraduate and MSc programs focused on global learning, student mobility, and opportunities to further enrich the international experience of students through deeper collaboration between the two institutions.

While each visit had its own focus, both reflected a shared commitment to preparing students and executives for success in an interconnected world. Through partnerships with leading institutions across the globe, HKUST Business School continues to expand opportunities for knowledge exchange, cross-cultural learning, and international engagement.
