HKUST Business School is proud to honor the legacy of Prof. Yuk-Shee CHAN, our late Founding Dean and visionary leader, whose foresight and dedication laid the foundation for the School’s global reputation as “World Class in Asia.” With the generous support of alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, the Yuk-Shee Chan Lounge (陳玉樹研習坊) has opened on the newly renovated executive floor of the Lee Shau Kee Business Building.
More than a physical space, the Lounge stands as a living tribute to Prof. Chan’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and his belief in collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning. Designed as a hub for dialogue and exchange, it will serve as a place where ideas flourish, connections are built, and future leaders are inspired to create meaningful impact.
This initiative was made possible through the first school-level mass donation campaign, aimed at bringing together alumni across cohorts, senior faculty and staff, and new supporters. Their generosity reflects a shared commitment to carrying forward Prof. Chan’s vision and empowering generations to come.
