Cyber risks can damage corporate operations, brand reputation, trust, and financial conditions. Business executives should be aware of cyber risks while they make decisions that shape, drive and grow the organization. In view of this, the Executive Education Office launched a new program “Cybersecurity & Risk Management for Executives” in November to enhance executives’ cyber resilience in the digital age.
The program was led by four faculty members - Prof. HUI Kai-Lung, Prof. HONG Weiyin, Prof. Ricci IEONG and Prof. Percy DIAS. The topics covered in the program are: current trends in cybersecurity, overview and analysis of security protection strategies, managing cybersecurity risks, and the latest developments in cybersecurity technologies and policies.

Joined by senior executives from diverse sectors, the program provided them with the grounding and practical knowledge in cybersecurity - how to identify potential vulnerabilities in business designs and operations, assess the efficacy of security protection tools and measures, evaluate existing cybersecurity solutions, design risk management strategies tailored to cybersecurity threats, and the new technologies and policies related to cybersecurity.
