Held on November 25, this year’s School Advisory Council Meeting came to a successful conclusion. This annual meeting serves as a pivotal platform for the University and the School to gain insightful advice and guidance from an esteemed group of members.

Chaired by Dr. Hans Michael JEBSEN (middle), the meeting began with an address by Prof. TAM Kar-Yan (left), HKUST’s Vice-President for Administration and Business. He provided an update on the HKUST 3.0 Vision Plan, sparking engaging discussions on the University’s strategic focus on delivering innovation to society.

Prof. HUI Kai-Lung (right), Acting Dean of the Business School, then presented the School’s recent progress and strategic plan within the 3.0 framework. His presentation emphasized promoting knowledge transfer, encouraging commercialization, fostering cross-disciplinary research, and enriching student learning experiences.

This productive annual meeting once again equipped the School with invaluable insights and support for its future development. Thanks to the dedicated efforts and contributions of all members, the School is well-positioned to reach new heights of success.
