A Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was officially signed in April 2024 between Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance and the HKUST Business School, marking a significant step towards strengthening collaborative efforts in education and research.

Under the memorandum, both parties will leverage their respective strengths in education and research, bolstered by the resources of Tsinghua University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This collaboration between the two schools aims to meet national strategic objectives and foster extensive cooperation in nurturing talent, advancing academic research, enhancing management training, developing disciplines, and facilitating technology transfer. It stands to gain from Hong Kong’s position as a global financial center and its strategic development into an international hub for innovation and technology.
