The HKUST Business School Advisory Council’s 2023 Annual Meeting successfully concluded on November 21, shaping the future of our sustainable business education. The meeting serves as an essential forum for the University and its Business School to obtain valuable advice and guidance from Advisory Council members.
Presided by the Council Chairman Dr. Hans Michael JEBSEN (left), who is also Chairman of the Jebsen Group, the half-day meeting commenced with an address by HKUST President and the Morningside Professor of Life Science, Prof. Nancy IP (right). She provided exciting updates on the University, and members showed keen interest in the School’s potential to generate positive social impact through transformative initiatives and business innovation.
After Prof. TAM Kar Yan, Dean of the Business School, presented the School’s recent developments, members provided a plethora of valuable suggestions to boost the School’s areas of expertise and take advantage of opportunities, including generative AI, ESG, and training entrepreneurial leaders with global vision.
The productive annual meeting once again provided significant input and support for the future development of the School. Thanks to the dedicated efforts and invaluable contributions of all members, the School is well poised to reach new heights of achievement!
