It is my great honor to be the President of the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) HKUST Chapter. I am delighted that the School of Business and Management continues to develop its strong links with international honor societies like the Beta Gamma Sigma. It is a long-standing and prestigious organization that recognizes academic excellence and provides opportunities for interaction between students, faculty, professionals and business leaders.
As new members, you are connected to the vast and expanding Beta Gamma Sigma network which has 750,000 members in more than 160 countries around the world. The HKUST Chapter, since its inception in 2000, has inducted more than 1,800 members.
I would like to congratulate you on earning recognition for your distinctive achievements in the study and practice of business. The school will continue to extend the reach and network of our local BGS Chapter and foster exchanges among its members and with the business community.
