The AI and Cybersecurity Program for Public Sector concluded two cohorts, offering 92 government officials from 38 government departments valuable insights into the latest trends and challenges in AI and cybersecurity. Led by Prof. HONG Weiyin and Prof YANG Yi from the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management, the one-day program covered a range of key topics, including cybersecurity threats, security protection strategies, and the applications of generative AI.
The two cohorts saw a full house with overwhelming support from the HKSAR Government. Many participants rated the program practical since the knowledge learnt can be applied at work, and they would highly recommend it to their colleagues.
The Program successfully concluded two cohorts in August and September.
