Technology has been a potent tool in revolutionizing the modern business world. To unlock new opportunities in this fast-changing digital era for companies worldwide, the Executive Education Office collaborated with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences to organize the Digital Leadership Program in February.

A diverse mix of 12 female and 13 male Kuwaiti executives from both private and public sectors participated in the five-day program at HKUST Business School. Taught by a veteran team of faculty, the program delved into several prominent and trending topics. It featured “Disruptive Technologies in Business Applications” by Prof. Allen HUANG, “Digital Strategy: Digital Business Models” by Prof. Chris DORAN, “AI and Data-Drive Decision Making for Executives” by Prof. Carlos FERNÁNDEZ-LORÍA, “Digital Mindset” by Prof. KOH Tat-Koon, and “Digital Customer Experience” by Prof. Joseph SALVACRUZ.

Beyond classroom learning, the participants actively took part in interactive activities, including a group exercise on digital startups and pitching, as well as a company visit to WeLab Bank, enhancing their overall learning experience.
