An HKEJ Monthly article on Web3 as a disruptive force for platform enterprises featured remarks by Assistant Prof. Dongwon LEE, Department of ISOM, on the development potential of Web3, which has blockchain as its underlying decentralizing technology.

Prof. CHEN Yanzhen, Department of ISOM, and researchers from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Rochester. It revealed that executives who regularly promote themselves on social media may have a leg up on landing high-paying job offers that help to advance their careers.

Sing Tao, Headline Daily, Bastillepost, Line Today, Etnet, and Sina reported that Prof. Lui proposed the government to invest more resources in medical services to cater to an ageing population.

Jiemian, sohu, and toutiao carried articles on an increasing number of Chinese listed companies insuring independent directors for potential financial fraud liabilities. Associate Prof. Allen HUANG, Department of Accounting, commented that holding independent directors responsible for financial frauds is unreasonable because sometimes even auditing professionals and fund houses are unable to spot financial frauds.
EMBA Graduate Named Most Influential Media and Health Investor in Asia (July 19)
China.com, dzshbw, xsgou, fromgeek, cnfina and jpm.cn reported EMBA graduate SUN Jialin, general manager of Shenzhen GTJA Investment, was named one of Asia’s top 30 most influential medical and health investors in a recent ranking of China’s most popular investment institutions in 2022. Sun has been engaging in medical and health equity investment for 15 years.
