Accounting Faculty Earn New Editorial Appointments and Beyond
Prof. Allen HUANG, Head of the Department of Accounting, has been appointed to the editorial board of Contemporary Accounting Research, a top journal in the accounting field. In addition to this recent appointment, Prof. Huang serves on the editor board of The Accounting Review and the associate editor board of Review of Accounting Studies. He is also an editor of Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, underscoring his contributions and influence in accounting research.
Prof. CHEN Tai-Yuan has also been invited to join the editorial board of Contemporary Accounting Research. Apart from this overseas appointment, he has been appointed as a member for the Business Studies Subject of the Assessment Panel for Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector. The Research Grants Council in Hong Kong uses subject panels and committees to ensure impartiality and effective use of resources when considering research grants and fellowship applications.
Management Faculty Takes on Key Editorial Role
Prof. LI Jiatao has been appointed Department Editor (Strategy Area) at Management Science. While editorial team structures vary across disciplines, department editors of Management Science make the final decisions on papers based on recommendations from the associate editors. They seek papers that deepen our understanding of how organizations are deployed to address and solve important problems.
