The HKUST MBA Program has soared 12 places to reach World #24 in the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Rankings 2026, reaffirming its position as Hong Kong #1 MBA and as one of the most globally competitive business schools.

Since 2008, the HKUST MBA has been ranked among the global top 25 an impressive 15 times. The 2026 results reflect HKUST’s enduring strength on the international stage and the program’s value to aspiring leaders seeking a world‑class, globally oriented education.

A standout achievement this year is the program’s strong performance in International Mobility, where HKUST ranked #14 globally—the highest in Asia. This result demonstrates its effectiveness in preparing graduates for cross‑border careers and international assignments, supported by HKUST’s global network, industry-integrated curriculum, and diverse community.

Prof. Frederik ANSEEL, Dean of HKUST Business School, said: “Rankings are one reference point in assessing performance, but they do not fully capture the breadth or depth of an institution’s impact. Over its 35‑year history, the HKUST MBA has consistently demonstrated excellence across multiple dimensions. In particular, our strong employment and career outcomes reflect the strength and dedication of our alumni community. We remain committed to providing a world‑class educational experience that empowers future leaders to thrive in an evolving global business landscape.”

This achievement is also a testament to the passion and dedication of our faculty, students, alumni, staff, and industry partners, who together are shaping the next chapter of HKUST’s global excellence.
