The inaugural cohort of the MSc in Family Office and Family Business (FOFB) program recently represented HKUST to compete at the prestigious Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (SG-FECC). Organized by the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business in the US, the competition is widely regarded as the “World Cup” of family business case competitions.

The event provided an exciting platform for our team to showcase their exceptional growth, resilience, and teamwork across three demanding rounds. It was especially rewarding that Yiyang (pictured in the center below) received the Best Presenter Award, a testament to the team’s collective effort and spirit.

The inspiring journey was guided by their coach, Prof. Winnie PENG, who witnessed firsthand the determination and growth of these future leaders in family enterprise. Heartfelt thanks go to the SG-FECC organizing team, the hosts at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, and everyone who supported our students along the way.
