HKUST Business School has further strengthened its collaboration with Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) through the signing of a scholarship agreement aimed at supporting Qatari undergraduates in pursuing a world‑class business education at HKUST and preparing them for future leadership roles.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Rashid Saad Al-Mohannadi, Executive Director of Human Capital at QIA, and Prof. Hui Kai‑Lung, Acting Dean of HKUST Business School, in the presence of senior leadership from both institutions.

During the visit, the QIA delegation toured the HKUST campus to gain deeper insights into the University’s teaching and learning environment, student support framework, and career development resources, with particular interest in how HKUST supports students from the Middle East in their academic and professional journeys.

Building on the undergraduate scholarship initiative, both parties also held forward‑looking discussions on potential areas for further collaboration, including opportunities in executive education and student internship training.

The scholarship agreement marks an important milestone in the growing relationship between HKUST Business School and one of the world’s leading sovereign wealth funds, reflecting a shared commitment to long‑term human capital development and the cultivation of globally minded, future‑ready talent.
