COVID-19 may have kept people apart physically, but remote conferencing has brought us closer than ever before.
Since April, the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program Office has been hard at work in keeping the community strong by organizing over 40 online events, including Zoom networking calls based on different regions and industries as well as academic webinars. Dialing in from Spain, Finland, the UK, the US, Japan, and Malaysia, Kellogg-HKUST alumni and current participants from all over the world gathered to reconnect with each other once again through the power of technology. In addition to learning from their peers, current students and alumni continued learning with our world-class faculty, including HKUST Professors Jaideep SENGUPTA, Vidhan GOYAL, and James ROOT.
We also had the pleasure of inviting our alumni from Class of 2008 – Angela DONG, Global Vice President and General Manager, Greater China at Nike and Peter ZHANG, Senior Partner and CEO, Greater China at Aon Consulting – as guest speakers at the KH Alumni Business Cards Series (KH ABCs). Moderated by Samantha LAW (Class of 2012), General Manager of Hong Kong and Taiwan at Converse, each speaker shared their thoughts on different types of resilient leadership that could enable organizations to emerge stronger in the post-pandemic world.
Stay tuned as we continue to expand the range of Kellogg-HKUST initiatives as well as online class reunions.
