Rated by Times Higher Education (THE), the Young University Rankings reveal the best universities under 50 years old. Thanks to faculty and staff, students and alumni, and other members of the HKUST family, HKUST has climbed one place to world #1 in the 2018 ranking.
THE’s Young University Rankings uses the same methodology as THE’s World University Rankings, but the weightings are recalibrated to reflect the missions of younger universities. The rankings are assessed across teaching, research, international outlook and their work with industry.
