The HKUST chapter has received enormous support from its members in the academic and business communities since its inception in 2000. The chapter has inducted more than 1,000 students, alumni, faculty, and business leaders into its membership over the last decade. I would like to congratulate and welcome this year's newly inducted honorees and members. Earning membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is an honor that provides a lifetime of benefits and recognition. In addition to the recognition of your scholastic achievement, you will also be able to tap into the wider connections of the globally expanding Beta Gamma Sigma network.

I am delighted that the School continues to develop its strong link with international honors societies such as Beta Gamma Sigma, a long-standing and prestigious association that recognizes academic excellence and provides excellent opportunities for interaction between students, faculty and professionals. Looking ahead, the School will continue to extend the reach and network of the society to foster exchanges among its members and strengthen its ties with the business community.
