T. C. Chan

T. C. Chan is the Country Corporate Officer for Citibank Hong Kong and responsible for maintaining a corporate overview of Citigroup’s extensive franchise in Hong Kong. Mr. Chan joined Citibank Hong Kong in February 1980 and has since held management positions in Financial Control, Operations, Treasury and Corporate Banking in Japan and Hong Kong.

Mr. Chan is a Vice-President and Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese Bankers Club. He sits on the Board and Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Community Chest and is the Chairman of its Investment Sub-Committee and Co-Chairman of its Campaign Committee. He is a member of the Small & Medium Enterprises Committee and Convener of its Financing Roundtable. He also serves as a Council Member of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong, and a member of the Investment Sub-Committee of the Beat Drugs Fund, a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of Hong Kong Securities Institute, as well as the Advisory Committee on Human Resources Development in the Financial Services Sector of the Hong Kong Government. He is also a Board Member of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong.

Peter Woo

Peter Woo was appointed Chairman of the Trade Development Council (TDC) by the Chief Executive on 1 October 2000. In this capacity, Mr Woo presides over a 19-member Council comprising representatives of Hong Kong's major business and economic associations and government officials. The Council plans and supervises the TDC's global operations, services and promotional activities through a network of more than 40 offices. In Hong Kong, the Council oversees the operation of one of the Special Administrative Region's (SAR) most important business landmarks, the Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In the private sector, Mr Woo is Chairman of Wheelock and Company Ltd and The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd and former Chairman of both the Hospital Authority and the Council of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 1998.
