HKUST Hosts Fintech Industry Seminar to Enhance Hong Kong’s e-HKD Readiness (Jun 30)
Various media, including , rthk.com, BastillePost, yahoo(HK), Mingpao.com, TaKungpao, Business Times, Fortune, Line Today and businesstimes, reported that the School held an industry dialogue on e-HKD to collate insights from experts from HKMA, leading firms in the banking, payment and technology sectors, as well as fintech industry practitioners, on issues surrounding e-HKD, including those on system operation, privacy, security and risk management. Under HKMA's e-HKD Pilot Program, HKUST will partner with HSBC to conduct an on-campus e-HKD trial run in September.
