Regulating Cryptocurrency Exchanges
In an interview with , Assoc. Dean Prof. Allen HUANG offered his views on the issues highlighted by the bankruptcy of cryptocurrency exchange FTX. He said that since the beginning of the crypto market, over 10 cryptocurrency exchanges have gone bust, and the reason was always the lack of oversight on the centralized exchanges. He saw similarities between the FTX case and the bankruptcies of Enron and WorldCom in that they all involved accounting frauds.
