As employees bring different knowledge, skills and perspectives to the team, management should create intra-team cooperation opportunities to unleash the potential of proactive personalities. It can then enable the team to better tap the upward potential of active personality, alleviate its negative effects and improve overall team performance.

From a practical perspective, managers can use these findings to design more effective team collaboration based on the proactive personality of each team member.
