SBM organized the fourth year Annual Best Paper Competition to encourage PhD students the practicum to write high quality research papers. The competition was held with success on 6 May 2005 at Ting Ka Ping Hall. Remus Ho Kwok Wah (ISMT), 4th year PhD student, beat the other three finalists as the winner of this competition. He presented his winning topic on "RJMCMC Algorithm for Multivariate Gaussian Mixtures with Applications in Linear Mixed-Effects Models".

Prof. Sudipto Dasgupta (FINA), Director of MPhil/PhD Programs, commented highly on the quality of paper submissions this year. The judge panel is made up of the faculty members from Department of Accounting, Information Systems & Management, Operations Managment and Finance.
