Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence
Behind every successful student is a teacher who guides and inspires. The Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence is presented annually to honor teaching excellence in faculty. The Prize was established in 2000 with donations from the Larry and Mei Kwong Franklin Endowment Fund. The awards for 2025 were presented by Prof LIM Wooyoung, the Chairman of the Selection Committee on Franklin Prize, in the presence of Dean Prof. Frederik ANSEEL.

Recognition from Leading International Academic Journals
In addition to teaching, our faculty actively advance their fields through contributions to leading international academic journals, earning repeated recognition from the global academic community.
Reflecting this recognition, Prof. Allen HUANG, Department Head of Accounting, has been named as a reviewer of the Year by the Journal of Accounting Research (JAR). This annual award honors scholars who provide outstanding editorial reviews and evaluations for the Journal.

From the Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management, Prof. ZHENG Xinghua has been appointed Associate Editor for three leading international journals: the Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA) Theory and Method, the Journal of Econometrics, and Econometric Theory. These appointments recognize his strong research contributions and international standing in statistics and econometrics.
