The HKUST Center for Technology and Business Ecosystem (CTBE), in collaboration with the Investor and Financial Education Council and Cyberport Hong Kong, hosted a Web3 workshop in November.

Over 200 tertiary students from 11 local institutions attended the half-day workshop at Cyberport, where experts shared their insights about Web3 and FinTech, blockchain and AI, Web3 rapid prototyping, as well as pitching and storytelling. The workshop featured speakers including: Prof. Bo TANG, Head & Assistant Director of HKUST Institute for Financial Research; Mr. Bill QIAN, Co-Founder of Cypher Capital and CIO of Phoenix Group; Mr. Jason CHAN, Founder, CEO and AI Architect of Olaxbt; and Prof. Carrie LING, Director of HKUST Entrepreneurship Center.
