First Bahrainis Client: The Waqf Fund Head of IT and Cybersecurity Grooming Program

The Executive Education Office has been expanding its footprint in the Middle East. The ten-day Waqf Fund Head of IT and Cybersecurity Grooming Program, in partnership with the Central Bank of Bahrain, was successfully completed on HKUST campus by 15 experienced heads of IT from Bahrain’s financial institutions.

From strategic leadership to cutting-edge tech, the program covered topics such as cloud computing, data visualization, fintech regulation, and cybersecurity risks in Gen AI. In addition to the insightful research-driven sessions conducted by our team of professors, the program also featured guest speaker talks and an AI workshop imparting knowledge on practical applications.

We extend our sincere thanks to DBS for hosting the group and providing an inspiring environment for program participants to exchange insights and ideas with its management team. We look forward to fostering our collaboration with the Central Bank of Bahrain and other new clients in the region.
