A diverse team of undergraduate and postgraduate students displayed their entrepreneurial spirit at a prestigious forum, while a vibrant student mixer fostered meaningful cultural exchange.

Cross-Program Student Team Promotes Wellness in Community

Five students representing both the UG and MSc programs took part in the esteemed Cartier Universities Forum. Themed “Energise Entrepreneurship & Resilience in Hong Kong,” the event brought together innovative students from eight universities to discuss how entrepreneurship can foster positive change in the city.

The School’s team, including three World Bachelor in Business (WBB) students, Adam BREZOCZKI, Mallika JADE, and Lyanne WONG; a Global Business (GBUS) student, Calvin KWAN; and an MSc in Marketing student, HUANG Yuntong, captivated the audience with their idea, “ResiLink: Hong Kong’s First Entrepreneurial Network Blending Wellness and Community-Building.”

Student Voices:

Lyanne: “I greatly enjoyed collaborating with my teammates, gaining feedback from Prof. Stephen Nason and staff, as well as learning from Cartier’s mentors.”

Mallika: “This Project was an incredible opportunity to engage with the Hong Kong entrepreneurial landscape from a unique perspective.”

Yuntong: “This experience was a real-life challenge that pushed me to think critically, collaborate effectively, and grow alongside such an extraordinary team.”

Mixer Lunch Promotes Global Education

Our School welcomed a study group from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, with a mixer lunch on campus, providing a platform for over 50 undergraduate students of both schools to connect and build friendships.

During the occasion, students shared their university experiences, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration. This beyond the classroom experience not only broadened their academic perspectives but also enhanced their social and networking skills.
