Our Executive Education Office has been collaborating with academic and corporate partners to equip leaders across industries and regions with valuable insights.

A Collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board

As part of the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador Programme of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), we are excited to announce a joint collaboration between HKUST and the HKTB to promote Hong Kong as a premier destination for global business events.

To showcase the city’s professional standing in I&T, we hosted a half-day program for 39 prestigious convention ambassadors from Mainland China. These esteemed leaders represent national professional bodies, chambers of commerce, and trade and industry associations across 12 industries, positioning them as key influencers in the convention sphere.

A highlight of the event was a keynote presentation by Prof. Allen HUANG on “The Future is Now: Emerging Trends in AI and Big Data”. The talk offered perspectives on how innovation can shape our future. Additionally, HKUST colleagues showcased their program offerings and engaged in meaningful discussions with participants for future collaboration. We look forward to working closely with the HKTB and its Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong in this exciting endeavor to elevate Hong Kong’s status as the world’s meeting place!
