The MSc Mentorship Program has become a cornerstone for fostering connections within the vibrant MSc community, thanks to the strong sense of camaraderie between mentors and mentees. To celebrate the Year of the Snake, the program hosted a delightful Lunar New Year Get-Together Dinner in February, bringing members together for an occasion of reflection and networking.
The evening commenced with welcoming remarks from Mr. Chris TSANG, Assistant Dean and MSc Program Director of HKUST Business School. He said by fostering trust and promoting open communications, mentors and mentees can share valuable experiences. Their connections not only contribute to personal and professional growth of our students but also enrich our entire MSc community.

During the event, one of our mentors, Haywood LEUNG (MSc in Global Operations 2019), conveyed his enthusiasm for building meaningful friendships with his mentees and expressed his eagerness to provide support to the MSc community. Mentees also voiced their appreciation for the MSc Mentorship Program, recognizing that proactive communication enhances their mentor-mentee relationships and fosters collaboration.
