Our Executive Education Office is excited to collaborate again with Deloitte China in Program ICON, building on the successful partnership last May.
Under the program, Prof. Caroline WANG, Adjunct Professor of the Department of Management, delivered a session on “Mastering Strategic Leadership” at the Deloitte University Asia Pacific China (DU AP China) in Beijing, which was inaugurated in October 2024. The event brought together some 30 participants from various regions and business units.
In today's dynamic business environment, mastering strategic leadership is crucial for guiding changes, making decisions, aligning teams, and driving success. Prof. Wang covered the essentials of building a high-performing team. In addition, she talked about her cohesive thinking framework Goal, Priorities, Alternatives – Information, People, Objective Reasoning (GPA-IPO) that can help in making effective team decisions. Participants also discussed different case studies to practice leadership and quality decision.
