In December, over 170 students from the six campuses in the Kellogg EMBA network — Chicago, Miami, Toronto, Vallendar, Beijing, and Hong Kong — gathered at HKUST Business School for a six-day Global Elective in Hong Kong!
The week unfolded as participants from diverse cultures engaged in knowledge exchange and built lasting connections with senior executives from around the world. Led by HKUST Business School’s world-class faculty, including Acting Dean Prof. HUI Kai-Lung, Prof. Laurence FRANKLIN, Prof. Milind RAO, Prof. Karl SCHMEDDERS, Prof. Jaideep SENGUPTA, and Prof. SHI Han, a wide array of business topics was explored during classes, including emerging technologies, value investing, consumer psychology, deal-making, and ESG strategies.
Beyond the classroom, students embraced the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong, from horse racing to hiking through the city’s landscapes, topped off by a student-organized cultural dinner and a sumptuous seafood feast.
