The Executive Education Office offered a program on “Data-Driven Storytelling for Executives” in April, which helped executives unlock the power of data in storytelling. Prof. Allen HUANG led this program and fostered leaders’ thinking to turn data into insights and informed decisions.

With an engaging and fostered curriculum steeped in practical insights, the program aims to empower executives to decipher complex data, extract insightful narratives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This program covers data analysis, decision making, communicating complex ideas, and convincing storytelling. As the digital landscape evolves, this program stands as a lighthouse for executives to navigate through data with confidence and creativity, culminating in more informed and resonant business storytelling, and learned the best practices.

In this year’s class, 50 senior executives averaging 19 years of experience from diverse sectors and 20 companies gained insights on how to transform data into compelling stories to drive strategic decisions and convince stakeholders including employees, other managers, and customers.

Participants found the program interesting and practical. They learned how to frame, interpret, and present data.
