The HKUST BBA in Operations Management (OM) Program has embarked on an exhilarating journey since its first cohort graduated in 1994. Celebrating the significant milestone of its 30th anniversary, the Program has reunited alumni and current students with a grand dinner.

The evening was a remarkable success, bringing together over 200 guests including alumni, faculty, and current students. It also featured a variety of programs: alumni sharing, student performances, exciting lucky draw that kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout the night.

The dinner commenced with welcoming remarks by Prof. LI Qing, Deputy Head of the Department of ISOM, highlighting the Program’s latest development. It was followed by Prof. Ronald LAU, UG Coordinator of OM and emcee for the evening, who invited our alumni overseas to join online and share their life stories and industry experiences.

The BBA OM 30th anniversary celebration was a wonderful occasion where our much-missed friends reconnected and rekindled their fond memories at HKUST, also forging new connections between alumni, students, and faculty. Click here to see the memorable moments captured at the dinner.

Prior to the dinner, two fun-filled and educational workshops were held on campus for kids and families of our alumni, including the light clay creative art workshop and the DIY anti-mosquito bag workshop.
