The MSGF program co-hosted a seminar in Hong Kong on March 13, on the topic of ESG investing, with Standard Boards of Alternative Investment (SBAI) and the CAIA Association. The event invited Prof. Kasper Meisner NIELSEN, Professor of Finance at Copenhagen Business School and Adjunct Professor of Finance at HKUST Business School, and Mr. Thomas DEINET, Executive Director of SBAI, as the panelists, with Dr. Roman NOVOZHILOV, Head of ESG at the New Development Bank, moderating the discussion. The panel’s presentation shared invaluable insights on the growing prominence of ESG investment, delved into recent studies, and sparked engaging conversations among the attendees.

The Valuation of Twitter (‘X’)

The MSGF Program and CFA Japan co-hosted a finance seminar in Tokyo on March 19, on the topic of valuation. Prof. Kasper Meisner Nielsen delivered a captivating presentation, utilizing the Twitter case as an illustrative example to demonstrate various valuation techniques and processes. The attendees had the opportunity to gain insights into the applications and challenges of valuation.

Class of 2024 Kicked Off New York Module

The Class of 2024 of the MSGF program commenced their New York module on March 10, marking a milestone in their academic journey. The NYU faculty and staff welcomed the class and held a delightful cocktail reception to celebrate this occasion, which provided an opportunity for students to connect with their peers and faculty members.
