In today’s dynamic and challenging business environment, it is essential for leaders to make high-quality decisions, lead, and communicate with the team to achieve desirable performance.
The Executive Education Office has been offering the High Potentials Leadership 5-day Consortium Program since 2014 to address executives’ learning needs. The program comprises three 1-day or 2-day modules, namely Managerial Decision Making, Effective Team Communications, and Leading Teams to Performance. Through lectures, case studies, exercises, and group discussions, the program aims to develop high-flyers by improving their leadership capabilities and offering them access to the latest management knowledge.
This year, we have 27 participants in the class, who are high-flyers from diverse backgrounds, functions, and industries with an average of 21 years of working experience. They are from 16 companies, representing diverse industries, such as buildings & construction, logistics/transportation, consumer goods & retails, and government.
We kicked off the first module by Professor Bilian SULLIVAN in late August. Participants found the module practical and inspiring. The key learning points include tools for decision-making, common biases in judgment and decision traps.
