The HKUST Global Business (GBUS) program hosted a campus visit for over 60 faculty members and students from the Waseda University Global Management Program (GMP) in late September. The event featured an interactive class, a campus tour, and a mixer dinner, creating an enriching experience for all participants.
GBUS Program Director Professor KOH Tat Koon Koh and GMP Director Professor Shinichi HIROTA kickstarted the event by giving an overview of their respective programs.
Prof. KOH Tat Koon delivered a class on Disruptive Technology, with lively participation from GBUS, GMP, and World Bachelor in Business (WBB) students.
Students from various programs made deeper connections with peers during the evening mixer.
Participants enjoyed all the activities during the campus visit. This GBUS x GMP event highlights the value of fostering international collaborations and promoting cross-cultural understanding. As the event concluded, students left with a renewed sense of inspiration, an expanded network, and a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of global business and management.
