Finance Faculty Appointed as Fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research
Congratulations to Professor Abhiroop MUKHERJEE of the Department of Finance, also MPhil and PhD Programs Coordinator (Finance), who has been appointed as a Fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (ABFER)!
Founded by academics worldwide, ABFER is an independent research organization based in Singapore. Aiming to promote Asia-Pacific oriented financial and economic research, ABFER connects academic researchers, practitioners, and public policymakers around the globe to enhance the research capabilities and development of strong clusters of finance and economics research groups in the region.
Taking up this new role, Prof. Mukherjee can play an active role in developing stronger ties with leading universities and research institutions in Asia, and thus contribute to advancing finance and economics research capacities and agendas.
Marketing Faculty Nominated to Join the 2023 Marketing Science Institute Young Scholar's Cohort
The School is pleased to announce that Associate Professor LIU Jia and Assistant Professor June SHI Zijun, both from the Department of Marketing, have been selected to become members of the 2023 Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Young Scholar’s Cohort.
MSI Young Scholars program is a biennial event that brings together the most prominent early-career marketing scholars in the world. It provides a forum for these scholars to discuss their research, encourage future collaboration, and foster their interest in solving real-world marketing problems.
The 2023 MSI Young Scholars are formed by a group of 33 early-career faculty with 2016 to 2019 PhDs. After a rigorous nomination and review process, the group reflects a nice balance across geographies and areas of marketing. They will get together for a retreat in Snowbird, Utah.
